Marketing Intern for Non-Profit Pharma Org.

We are working with a non-profit pharmaceutical company that aims to ensure every American has access to the life-saving drugs they need. This position supports its leadership in marketing, research, and social media management. From scheduling and taking notes, to managing operations, researching and originating content (social media, fundraising research), conducting market research, and even coming up with ideas for the organization. This position has visibility into the thinking, planning and execution of all organizational functions. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage social media

    • researching pertinent articles,

    • responsible for maintaining all social media posting schedules

    • use distribution tools and directly post all approved social media posts and originating content.

  • Support development /fundraising - researching potential donors, creating briefing sheets, proofreading/creating slides for presentations (as needed)

  • Track daily news related to NP2 and provide an end-of-the-week report (News You Can Use)

  • Proofread and edit communications materials

  • Create spreadsheets and timelines (as needed)

  • Assist with special projects, research, writing, communications

  • Attending select meetings to capture notes and distribute to Executive Director & Marketing Advisor 

 

Advanced Support:

  • Provide SEO support

  • Occasionally act as project manager for deliverables and timelines

  • Assist in improving overall outreach and marketing/brand-building processes

  • Keep up-to-date with nonprofit pharmaceutical and generic drugs climate and identify news and data that NP2 can leverage through its marketing channels

 

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and technology skills

  • Professional appearance for both internal and any external meetings attended

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Google docs, Canva, and Mailchimp

  • Ability to quickly pivot and handle multiple priorities, follow through and meet deadlines

  • Strong business acumen

  • Well-structured, thorough, and able to operate independently

  • Team player

Employment Type:

  • Internship 3-4 months, 10-15 hours per week
